  1. Anti-congestion medicines: Get rid of snoring by taking some anti-congestion medications when you are ill. Most of the time illnesses such as cold worsen the problem of snoring.
  2. Sing: Try to sing as singing helps to tone and strengthen the muscles of the throat. This is one of the solutions for snoring that are actually fun and helps to reduce the amount of excess tissue.
  3. Elevate your head: Try to elevate your head by four inches. This will make the process of breathing easier. Avoid using pillow, so that the muscles of your neck are not crimped. Make sure to sleep on your side rather than on your back.
  4. Lose Weight: Try to lose your weight by few pounds. This will give you significant results. It is believed to be very effective in curing mild to moderate snoring. Even if you lose your weight by a few pounds, it will help you to reduce fatty tissue located in the back of the throat, which will in turn decrease snoring. So get started with healthy weight loss and say good-bye to snoring.
  5. Counter nasal strips: A stuffy nose can cause difficulty in breathing. Here, you can use counter nasal strips as a snoring solution. This will help to open the nasal passageways that cause snoring.
  6. Avoid alcohol: Try to avoid caffeine-contained foods, alcohol and other medications before going to bed. They are likely to make the problem worse. Also, avoid high-fat milk products that cause mucus to build up in the throat. This too leads to snoring.
